在陜北、每逄集日集鎮上就有很多集貿市場，例如農產品市，蔬菜市，鞋帽針織市，豬羊牲畜市，瓜果市，但還有個特殊的市叫大牲畜市，在大牲畜市上主要交易是牛驢，市場里的牲口頭上都插根干草，凡插干草的牲口都是今天要交易的，交易的雙方從不用語言交易，都是用衣服下角遮遮掩掩，雙方用捏手碼子的方式討價還價、最后達成一致協議，這也是陜北獨一無的一種交易方式。</h3> <h3 style="text-align:
