I have returned to my hometown in March to honor my father's memory, so I was free during the Qingming holiday. On the first day, my husband and I went to the Beijing Botanical Garden. There were so many people out with their families for spring outings, and the traffic was terrible. Therefore, we chose to go by bike.</p> <p class="ql-block">Yesterday ，the next day,I stayed at home learning English and doing homework, while my husband went to university to conduct his research. </p> <p class="ql-block">Today is the third day.</p><p class="ql-block">If my husband were off work today, we would go to the Jinshanling Great Wall with my friends. </p> <p class="ql-block">Oh... what a pity! He is very busy today.</p> <p class="ql-block"> So I called my good friend, Sister Gao, and we discussed meeting at the Workers' Cultural Palace. I left my home yard, took Bus 625 first, then transferred to Bus 5, and got off at South Long Street. However, there were so many people there that we couldn’t find each other. Eventually, we met at Zhongshan Park. There were fewer people in this park compared to other parks, and the flowers were exceptionally beautiful. We were both very happy. We talked about how to improve our English proficiency quickly. She mentioned she was studying *New Concept English Book 2* and felt her teacher taught very well. I told her I listened to some simple English stories daily, and this method was effective. We shared personal experiences ，Encourage each other，and agreed to meet again to check our progress.</p>
