12月16日，我從三亞前往廣東陽江。旅途相當復雜。首先，我從三亞坐高鐵到海口，300公里的路程只用了1小時15分鐘。然而，瓊州海峽將海南島與大陸分隔開，為旅程增添了額外的復雜性。在海口，我換乘了臥鋪列車，在臥鋪車廂里耐心等待火車過海。擺渡過海耗時近4個小時，大部分時間都花在把車廂拆成四節(jié)，裝上大型渡輪，到達大陸后再重新連接起來。到達了湛江，再換乘高鐵，不到一小時就到了陽江。 On December 16, I travelled from Sanya to Yangjiang in Guangdong province. The journey was quite complex. First, I took a high-speed train from Sanya to Haikou, covering a distance of 300 kilometers in just one hour and 15 minutes. However, the Qiongzhou Strait separates Hainan Island from the mainland, adding an extra layer of complexity to the trip. In Haikou, I boarded a regular train with a sleeper ticket. The crossing took nearly four hours, with most of the time spent on disconnecting the train carriages into four segments, loading them onto a giant ferry, and reconnecting them upon reaching the mainland. I waited patiently in my sleeper during the process. After arriving in Zhanjiang, I transferred to a high-speed train and reached Yangjiang in less than an hour. 陽江的大洞山凈業(yè)寺素有“粵西第二禪林”之稱號，因寺內(nèi)藏有二百多尊緬甸玉佛，被譽為“玉佛的王國”。其中，有一尊造型精美的玉臥佛長7米、高2.5米、重達27噸，為中國最大的玉雕臥佛。<br> The Jingye Temple on Dadong Mountain in Yangjiang is known as the "Second Zen Temple in Western Guangdong". It is also known as the "Kingdom of Jade Buddhas" because it houses more than 200 Burmese jade Buddha statues. Among them, there is an exquisitely shaped jade reclining Buddha statue that is 7 meters long, 2.5 meters high and weighs 27 tons, making it the largest jade reclining Buddha statue in China. 以往我踏入寺廟，總是情不自禁地拍攝照片。然而，在三亞旅游的時候，老祝的一席話讓我豁然開朗。他告誡我，寺廟之中，大佛的佛光普照，我們應(yīng)當心存敬畏與虔誠，不宜隨意按下快門。老祝的話語中蘊含著深邃的道理，因此，在凈業(yè)寺的靜謐之中，我未拍攝一張照片。不過，歸家后，翻閱著旅途中的照片，雖然捕捉了無數(shù)風景，卻總覺得缺少了些什么，心中不免泛起一絲遺憾的漣漪。 In the past, whenever I entered a temple, I couldn't resist taking photos. However, during my time in Sanya, a conversation with Lao Zhu brought me a sudden clarity. He reminded me that within the temple, the Buddha's radiant light shines upon all, and we should approach it with reverence and piety, refraining from casually pressing the shutter. His words carried profound wisdom, and so, in the serene tranquility of Jingye Temple, I did not take a single photo. However, upon returning home, as I flipped through the photos from my journey, I realized that despite capturing countless landscapes, something felt missing. A faint ripple of regret stirred within me. 陽江市最大河流漠陽江是廣東省六大河流之一, 在陽東區(qū)北津港注入南海。<br><br>The largest river in Yangjiang City, the Moyang River, is one of the six major rivers in Guangdong Province and flows into the South China Sea at Beijin Harbour in Yangdong District.<br> 石覺禪林是陽江八景之一。石覺寺，包括鍾樓、鼓樓、天王殿、韋馱殿、客堂、觀音殿等。<br> <br>Shijue Zen Forest is one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Yangjiang. Before the race, a series of rituals take place, including "Digging the Dragon Boat" and "Ancestral Worship." Prior to launching the dragon boat into the water, a "Dragon Prosperity" ceremony is performed. Afterward, the dragon boat is taken to the river for the "Green Plucking" ritual, followed by rowing out of the tributary and entering the Moyang River. Once on the river, the dragon boats engage in competitive races. After the races, people of all ages gather to enjoy the "Dragon Boat Feast." The park's centerpiece is a 30-meter-tall artistic sculpture of the "Pearl Fisherwoman," which serves as its main attraction. 東平飛龍寺號稱“陽江小故宮”，背靠玉豚山三面環(huán)海，面對無敵大海景，如碧海蕩舟，合佛語“慈航普渡”之意。<div><br>寺廟大都是在深山老林、名山大川之中。東平飛龍寺面朝大海、視野無極的寺廟，則實屬非常罕見。<br></div> Dongping Feilong Temple, known as the "Little Forbidden City of Yangjiang," is nestled against Yutun Mountain and surrounded by the sea on three sides. Facing an unparalleled ocean view, it appears as if floating on the emerald waves, embodying the Buddhist concept of "the ferry of compassion delivering all beings."<div><br>Most temples are located deep in mountains or amidst famous rivers and peaks. The taxi driver mentioned that the shrimp paste here is the best in Yangjiang. However, since I’ve recently developed an allergy to shrimp, I didn't buy any. Instead, the driver bought two bottles of shrimp paste for himself and was very pleased. Because Da O Village is located more than 40 kilometers away from Yangjiang City, it't rare for him to come here. Today, I paid him the fare for the trip, and he was able to buy shrimp paste without any additional cost.<div><br>On the side of the market, there were several stalls selling cured ducks. These ducks were smaller than usual and costed only 10 yuan each. The price was too low that I had second guess for buying one.<br></div> 附近的陽江核電站是中國廣核集團在廣東地區(qū)的第二核電基地。司機說工作人員的待遇和生活配套設(shè)施都很好。是當?shù)氐慕?jīng)濟支柱。<br><br>The nearby Yangjiang Nuclear Power Station is the second nuclear power plant of China General Nuclear Power Group in Guangdong province. The taxi driver mentioned that the staff here are well-paid and that their residential compound are equipped with excellent facilities. The power plant is the primary economic driver of the local area.<br> 陽江市是中國廚房用品制造名城、五金刀剪、食品加工、木器制造，生物醫(yī)藥、智能家電、輕工紡織，合金材料、裝備制造有完整的產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈。<div><br>城里各式小作坊海保留至今。我經(jīng)過一個做床墊店，好奇地停下來看。現(xiàn)在還有人需要定制床墊嗎？ 老板娘說他們的床墊銷售全國各地，生意很穩(wěn)定。<br></div> Yangjiang is a famous city in China for kitchenware manufacturing, kitchen knives and scissors, food processing, woodware, biomedicine, smart home appliances, light industry textiles, alloy materials, and equipment manufacturing. There is a comprehensive supply chain around the city.<div><br>In the city centre, various small workshops are still preserved. I passed by a mattress shop, I was very curiously to look at the making of a mattress. Does anyone still need a customized mattress nowadays? The lady boss said that their mattresses are sold all over the country and the business is very stable.<br></div> 白天在大澳漁村沒有敢買臘鴨子，晚餐要了半只魚露雞，嘗嘗陽江的走地雞。<br><br>I didn't buy the cured duck in the fishing village during the day, so I ordered a half chicken marinated in fish sauce for dinner to try Yangjian's free-range chicken.<br>
