At thirty-five, he collaborated with the Indian scholar Rahula. They visited numerous monasteries in the Tibetan region and collected a wide range of Sanskrit and Tibetan classics.He studied and traveled in India for a long time - twelve years - with great enthusiasm. He mastered many languages, such as English, Sanskrit, and Pali, and wrote over twenty profoundly significant books.
