<p class="ql-block"> About travel,different people hold different opinions. Some may think it is not worthwhile spending so much time and money on traveling, others believe that travel is just a waste of time.As for me, travel is a good chance to not only enjoy beautiful sceneries alomg the road.but learn different customs and cultures in different ereas and meet different people all over the world.I can gain a lot from each journey.</p> <p class="ql-block">This time, I along with my best friend Yang took a five-day trip to Xishuang bannan Yunnan, a wonderful tourist destination. It is famous for its attractive scens ,minority customs and buddhist culture.</p> <p class="ql-block"> 7 June</p><p class="ql-block"> We took a flight from Changsha direct to Xishuang bannan Yunnan. It was a wonderful journey, Seen from the top of the shy, the well-known Mekong RIver just like a green ribbon，taking on different shapes from time to time.</p> <p class="ql-block">The first stop ——Shwedagon Pagoda in Xishuangbannan (西雙版納大金塔)</p><p class="ql-block"> This was the first time that I had seen such different types of architectural buildings. It impressed me a lot.</p> <p class="ql-block">One of the most important things during a journey is seeking for delicious food. There are so many mouthwatering foods here. such as baked fish with lemongrass(香茅草烤魚)，pineapple rice(菠蘿飯)，and so on. All kinds of tropical fruits can be seen everywhere, you can choose Whatever you like.</p> <p class="ql-block">8 June</p><p class="ql-block"> The second stop——The primary forest park.</p><p class="ql-block"> The scenery here was not as beautiful as I had expected. but I was really shocked by the scene that hundreds of peacocks were flying together from the top of the hills. It’s amazing！</p> <p class="ql-block">So many colorful butterflies here. The most famous are the Chinese leaves butterflies(中華枯葉蝶)。</p> <p class="ql-block">We didn't see any elephants in the wild elephant valley. but the elephants shows in the elephants school was really interesting. they could do sorts of different activities,The giant animals looked so cute.</p> <p class="ql-block">The most famous custom in Xishuangbannan may be the water–splashing festival(潑水節).only when you take an active part in it yourself can you enjoy the real fun of it.</p> <p class="ql-block">9 June</p><p class="ql-block"> The third stop——Chinese science botanical gard en(中科植物園)</p><p class="ql-block"> It is the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. You can't imagine how many different kinds of plants are living here. Thanks to this trip, I learnt a lot of knowledge about the biodiversity here. I think it is a good way to broaden my horizons and enhance my abilities.</p> <p class="ql-block">The fourth stop——Giant Buddhist temple</p><p class="ql-block"> The Buddhist culture is one of the most special attractions in Xishuang bannan. I am not a Buddhist, but I can feel the atmosphere in the temple and I become more religious here.&</p> <p class="ql-block">10 June</p><p class="ql-block"> The fifth stop——Manting imperial garden</p><p class="ql-block"> It is also known as the loyal garden of the Dai king, a wonderful place to take photos or have a good walking. Wandering around the beautiful garden , You may feel like you are the queen or the princess of Dai.</p> <p class="ql-block">The sixth stop——Aini cottage(愛伲山寨)</p><p class="ql-block"> The Aini people is a branch of Hani nationality, one of the 56 minorities in China，second only to the Dai population. They didn't have their own written words. there is a wishing bridge conecting their village and the main road in the primary forest garden. With a science heart, you can make a wish, may it come true some day?</p> <p class="ql-block">The seventh stop——Mandiu Dai Ethnic village</p><p class="ql-block"> The first time I know about Xishuangbanna and Dai Ethic customs and cultures was in a noval named The Wasted Time, It made a deep impression on me when I was in my high school, and this was my original motivation of visiting this area in person. though the sceneries and cultural atmosphere here didn't completely live up to my expectations, I really did it.</p> <p class="ql-block">Boarding a luxury cruise ship and enjoying the beautiful sunset was an enjoyable experience, which made me really relaxed. While eating the delicious foods and fruits , we could appreciate wonderful cultural style shows from six different countries ,I was so caught up in it that I hardly noticed two hours fly by.</p> <p class="ql-block">Talking photos may be another vital aspect of traveling. When in Rome, do as the Romans do . Dressed in beautiful dai clothes, I feel like I am really a dai woman.</p> <p class="ql-block"> To sum up, traveling is a way to learn about other cultures, It broadens our horizons and enrichs our life experiences. From my point of view，Xishuangbannan Yunan is a wonderful tourist destination which is worth visiting.</p>
