<p class="ql-block">4月14日。我們的旅行進入最后的三天。 按人工智能ChatGPT的推薦，今天會沿 101 號高速公路向北行駛至索爾旺，一個古色古香的丹麥主題小鎮(zhèn)，擁有風車、面包店和商店。</p><p class="ql-block">April 14. We started the last three days of our journey. ChatGPT recommended visiting the small towns near Santa Barbara. We drove northwards on highway 101 to Solvang, a quaint Danish-themed town with windmills, bakeries and shops.</p> <p class="ql-block">小鎮(zhèn)上有一家咖啡館，專做丹麥糕點，Danish Mill Bakery & Coffee Shop，生意特別好，要排隊。在店里堂吃提供陶瓷咖啡杯和陶瓷碟子，坐到店外面的桌子就只提供紙杯紙碟了。這么好的陽光，當然坐在在外面享受燦爛的陽光。</p><p class="ql-block">There was only one coffee shop in the main street area, Danish Mill Bakery & Coffee Shop. People formed a queue for getting served. The shop would serve porcelain wares for patrons dining inside, and only disposable paper utensils for sitting outside. Without doubt, we choose to sit under the bright sun.</p> <p class="ql-block">然后我們再驅(qū)車去附近盛產(chǎn)葡萄酒圣伊內(nèi)斯山谷的橄欖樹小鎮(zhèn)。那里有很多品酒小店。每逢周末很多人來這里，整個小鎮(zhèn)到處都舉行品酒派對。

</p><p class="ql-block">Afterwards we drove to Los Olivos, a small town in the wine producing Santa Ynez Valley. There are many wine-tasting shops and restaurants in the town centre. Many people come here for weekend. Every weekend is a small-town wine fest.</p> <p class="ql-block">中午的時候橄欖鎮(zhèn)品酒咖啡館里面坐滿了品酒的客人，這里有簡餐供應(yīng)。它是小鎮(zhèn)上得到評分最高，最受歡迎的品酒鋪+餐廳。也是唯一個像樣的餐廳。排隊要輪候一個半小時，鎮(zhèn)上沒有其他合適的選擇，我們也只有耐心等候了。</p><p class="ql-block">At noon, Los Olivos Wine Merchant Café, was full of people tasting wines. The restaurant also offered the café style menu. This restaurant received the highest scores among other restaurants. The waiting time was 90 minutes, and there was no other suitable restaurant in town, but to join the queue here.</p> <p class="ql-block">我們幾乎走遍了小鎮(zhèn)的每一條街。

</p><p class="ql-block">We wandered around almost every single street of the town.</p> <p class="ql-block">回到餐廳的時候還是比預(yù)約的時間早了十幾分鐘。

</p><p class="ql-block">It was still ten more minutes earlier than the appointment when we returned to the restaurant.</p> <p class="ql-block">離開橄欖小鎮(zhèn)沿154 號高速公路返回圣巴巴拉，在卡丘馬湖停留欣賞美景。

</p><p class="ql-block">We drove back to Santa Barbara via Highway 154, stopping at Lake Cachuma for scenic views.</p> <p class="ql-block">晚餐在酒店附近的“陳大叔餐館”（我們用的稱呼）。只有英文的菜單。我們請了老板娘過來。告訴她是否可以給我們做點湯面。她說“行！”。我們要了三碗蔬菜湯面，一碗牛肉面和一碗海鮮面。上來的五碗面是一個樣的孿生姐妹。不過能夠吃到我們想要的湯面就挺滿足的了。另外，我們還要了一碟宮保雞丁，這碟小菜濃油擦醬， 就是個咸。</p><p class="ql-block">Dinner was at a restaurant Uncle Chen. It had only English menu. We asked the lady boss that if she could prepare noodle soup. She accommodated our request happily. We ordered three bowls of all vegetables noodle soup, one with beef and one with mixed seafood. All five noodle soups that came up were like twin sisters. But it was pretty good that we got what we wanted. We also ordered a dish of Kung Pao Chicken. It had too much dark sauce and very salty.</p> <p class="ql-block">飯后我們在店外面拍照留念。機靈的老板娘看到，開亮了店里的燈光，從里面出來，給我們作攝影師。</p><p class="ql-block">We were preparing to take a picture outside the restaurant after dinner. The clever lady boss turned on all lights inside the store and came out helping us to take pictures.</p> <p class="ql-block">昨天晚上我們看到這里行人過馬路的道上警示燈閃閃發(fā)光非常亮。今天晚飯后走回酒店的路上，我們也試驗過馬路。只是天色還早不夠黑，閃閃發(fā)光的警示燈色大打折扣！</p><p class="ql-block">Last night we saw the flashing warning lights on the pedestrians crossing were very bright. Walking back to the hotel after dinner tonight, we also tried to test the crossing lights. The flashing lights were not as bright as last night because it's was still too early and not dark enough.</p> <p class="ql-block">4月15日從圣巴巴拉往北去San Jose。全程要5個多小時。</p><p class="ql-block">中間休息在In-N-Out 用餐。這次我們?nèi)蔚皆L過這家快餐店。它的漢堡包松軟，炸薯條是在店里用新鮮土豆當場切，當場現(xiàn)炸。和其他快餐店用預(yù)先炸和冷凍的薯條，到店里再炸有顯然不同。每家店都干凈，舒適，快捷。每家店都生意火爆。</p> <p class="ql-block">April 15, we drove northwards to San Jose from Santa Barbara. The journey would take more than five hours. </p><p class="ql-block">We dined at In-N-Out during our break. It was the third time we dined at this place in last eight days. Its hamburgers were juicy and its buns were fluffy, the fresh potatoes were cut in the store and fried on the spot. Its texture is different from other restaurants’ French fries, which were pre-fried and frozen, and then fried again in the store. All In-N-Out stores were clean, comfortable and efficient. Every store was lined with customers.</p> <p class="ql-block">圣荷西, 也叫矽谷，是加州灣區(qū)的主要科技中心。也是世界上最主要的科技中心之一。圣荷西是我們這次行程中的最后一站。

</p><p class="ql-block">San Jose also known as the Silicon Valley, is the major technology centre in the Bay Area of California. It is also one of the world's leading technology centres. San Jose is the last stop on our itinerary.</p> <p class="ql-block">蘋果公司訪客中心。前半部是蘋果商店，和世界各地的蘋果商店一樣的布局。后半邊是一個展示廳有蘋果工業(yè)園的巨型模型。介紹辦公區(qū)的自然景觀，創(chuàng)新設(shè)計的意圖。

</p><p class="ql-block">Apple Park Visitor Centre, the front half is an Apple Store, similar to other Apple stores around the world, the other half is an exhibition hall which displays a giant model of the Apple Park complex. It offers guests a place to learn, explore the natural landscape and its innovative design principles.</p> <p class="ql-block">蘋果公司訪客中心的二樓平臺可以看到蘋果園區(qū)的部分建筑。</p><p class="ql-block">全世界有上億個蘋果粉絲，能夠到蘋果總部親自來看看蘋果公司的人是非常少。 我們是不是非常的幸運！</p> <p class="ql-block">On the second-floor platform of the Apple Park Visitor Centre offers a glimpse of the Apple Park complex.</p><p class="ql-block">There are millions of Apple fans all over the world, and only a very few people can personally visit the Apple headquarters. Are we the very lucky ones!</p> <p class="ql-block">4月16日是這次旅游的最后一天。我的侄子帶我們來到谷歌總部園區(qū)參觀。正直今天休息，園區(qū)里僅有幾輛車子，看不到平時谷歌總部的運行氣氛。

</p><p class="ql-block">April 16, it was the last day before we leaving San Francisco tomorrow. My nephew took us to Google campus. It was Sunday and the campus was almost deserted.</p> <p class="ql-block">安卓手機操作系統(tǒng)問世已經(jīng)近15年了。安卓手機系統(tǒng)目前已經(jīng)發(fā)展到是第13代。 我們在幾個安卓標志前留影。</p><p class="ql-block">The Android mobile operating system has been around for nearly 15 years. The Android mobile phone system is currently in its 13th generation. We pose for pictures in front of several Android logos.</p> <p class="ql-block">我們這次能夠既參觀了蘋果的總部又到了谷歌的總部一游， 的確是非常幸運加幸運的一族了！</p><p class="ql-block">We were able to visit both Apple's headquarters and Google's headquarters this time, aren’t we really the double-lucky ones!</p> <p class="ql-block">參觀史丹福大學校園。

It is an American chain of grocery stores that was founded in 1967 and currently has 560 stores in the US. In addition to the basic supermarket staples, there are also some unique and interesting products from Trader Joe's own brand as well as everyday items. The store is very popular with Chinese tourists, and called as "Uncle Qude".</p><p class="ql-block">Xia Xia brought a pack of Trader's Joe dried mandarin which is a good snack for traveling. We had visited the store a few times since. At first, we went in to buy a few packs replenishing our supply; then we bought more for souvenirs taking home; for my wife's friend eye cream; and the vitamin B complex recommended by Xia Xia. We went back and forth five times during our trip in ten days.</p> <p class="ql-block">在Palo Alto 小息。

</p><p class="ql-block">We took a break at Printers Café in Palo Alto.</p> <p class="ql-block">圣荷西有正宗的中餐館。這家臺灣風味的小館， “好客棧”里坐滿了年輕人。我們這幾個老人也躋身在這些年輕人中間。

</p><p class="ql-block">There are authentic Chinese restaurants in San Jose. Red Hot Wok, a Taiwanese restaurant, was full of young people. We went in and joined with these young people.</p> <p class="ql-block">節(jié)奏強烈的音樂淹沒了我們的聊天聲。我們要了蔥爆牛肉，三杯雞，絲瓜炒蛋，豆豉蜆，苦瓜湯。和年輕人一樣，吃得不亦樂乎！

</p><p class="ql-block">The loud and strong music rhythm drowned out our chatter. We ordered “Fried beef with scallions”, “Three-cup chicken”, “Scrambled eggs with loofah”, “Clams cooked with preserved black bean”, and “Bitter gourd soup”. Just like these young people, happy eating!</p> <p class="ql-block">近十天的旅行，當?shù)氐拿朗辰o我們不斷地驚喜。
</p><p class="ql-block">在舊金山南面的伯靈格姆小鎮(zhèn)檸檬烤肉店Limón Rotisserie，是一家 秘魯美食餐廳, 留下了特別深刻的印象。

</p><p class="ql-block">In the past ten days of travel, the local food has constantly surprised us.
</p><p class="ql-block">In the small town of Burlingame, south of San Francisco, Limón Rotisserie, a Peruvian gourmet restaurant, was particularly enjoyable.</p> <p class="ql-block">甜酸清口的前菜海鮮三重奏：
