<p class="ql-block">節(jié)日快樂！</p><p class="ql-block">又是一個辭舊迎新的時刻。祝大家2023年心想事成，萬事如意，幸福快樂，身體健康!</p> <p class="ql-block">2022年初我們迎來了一部清風(fēng)拖掛式房車，從此開始了我們的房車旅行。</p> <p class="ql-block">在周邊小試牛刀后，我們有三次較大的房車旅行：</p><p class="ql-block">1. 六月份游玩美國國王谷和紅杉兩個國家公園，在兩公園間的國家森林里露營一周。</p><p class="ql-block">2. 九十月份的35天美國西部及加拿大西南部之旅，主要游玩了美國的大盆地國家公園，石頭城國家保留區(qū)，加拿大的班芙國家公園，賈斯珀國家公園，冰川國家公園和雷夫爾斯托克山國家公園，并在溫哥華拜訪大學(xué)老同學(xué)和孜冶的發(fā)小。</p><p class="ql-block">3. 十二月加州中部至南部的1號公路及亞利桑那南部的18天之旅。期間順利完成<a href="https://socialhiker.net/six-pack-peaks-challenge/arizona/" target="_blank" style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size:18px;">亞利桑那2022年冬季6+1峰挑戰(zhàn)</a>。<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255); font-size:18px;">?</span></p> <p class="ql-block">傅華在油管上開了一個賬戶<a href="https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCv6ZtIMxee0e6Xx6LBvQT1Q" target="_blank" style="font-size:18px; background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">華冶</a>，供有言論自由的朋友觀看，同時也開了一個微信的視頻號，上傳了同樣的內(nèi)容。制作游記視頻是一個很棒的回顧和學(xué)習(xí)過程。第一次房車房車旅行游記共5集已經(jīng)全部完成，第二次房車旅行的視頻只完成一小部分。其余的要在2023年完成。</p> <p class="ql-block">不外出時主要在家打理院落。后院開辟了菜地，收獲了不少蔬菜。還種了11棵果樹。</p> <p class="ql-block">在家期間還忙里偷閑，到周邊騎車劃船。2021年感恩節(jié)購買的兩條皮劃艇已經(jīng)帶我們數(shù)十次探索河流湖泊海灣，收獲無比的驚喜。</p> <p class="ql-block">疫情躲了兩年終究沒能躲過去。六月初我倆同時得了新冠。孜冶發(fā)低燒兩天，傅華沒有發(fā)燒。都有喉嚨痛的癥狀，咳嗽也不嚴(yán)重。我們沒有做任何治療，11天后轉(zhuǎn)陰。十一月孫子從幼兒園傳染上新冠，輕微癥狀，并傳染給了兒子媳婦。我倆幫忙帶孫子，一個屋檐下與三個陽性人生活了一周依然保持陰性。看來得了一次身體還是有免疫力的。</p> <p class="ql-block">光陰似箭，新的一年又給了我們重新開始的機(jī)會。所以每個歲末，我們都為自己鼓氣：來年更加熱愛生活, 保持積極向上的生活態(tài)度，活出自己的精彩。</p> <p class="ql-block"><br></p><p class="ql-block">Happy Holidays to all!</p><p class="ql-block">It is another season of saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new. I wish you all the best of luck, happiness, and good health in the new year of 2023!</p> <p class="ql-block">At the beginning of 2022, we bought an Airstream RV trailer and started our RV travel.</p> <p class="ql-block">After tesing out in areas close to home, we had three long RV trips:</p><p class="ql-block"> 1. Visited King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks in June, and camped in the national forest between the two parks for a week.</p><p class="ql-block">2. A 35-day trip to western United States and southwestern Canada in September and October, touring Great Basin National Park and Rock City National Reserve in the United States, Banff, Jasper, Glacier and Mount Revelstoke National Parks in Canada, plus visiting old college classmates and Joseph's childhood friend in Vancouver. </p><p class="ql-block">3. An 18-day trip from central California to southern California on famous Highway 1 and southern Arizona in December. During the period, we successfully completed <a href="https://socialhiker.net/six-pack-peaks-challenge/arizona/" target="_blank" style="font-size:18px; background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">the Arizona winter 6+1 peak chanllenge</a>.</p> <p class="ql-block">Julia opened an account <a href="https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCv6ZtIMxee0e6Xx6LBvQT1Q" target="_blank" style="font-size:18px; background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);">Howdy Yay</a> on Youtube for friends who have freedom of speech. At the same time, she also opened a WeChat channel and uploaded the same contents. Making travel videos is a great review and learning process. A total of 5 episodes of the first RV travel have been completed. Only a small part of the second RV travel video has been completed. The rest is due in 2023.</p> <p class="ql-block">When not traveling we mainly worked on our yard, building a vegetable garden and planting 11 fruit trees.</p><p class="ql-block">We also did cycling and kayaking around Sacremento area. Two kayaks we purchased on Thanksgiving in 2021 have taken us dozens of times to explore rivers, lakes and bays. Those trips brought us many happy moments. </p> <p class="ql-block">After two years, the pandemic finally hit us. We got covid at the same time in early June. Joseph had a low fever for two days while Julia had none. Both had sore throats and minor coughing. We did not take any medication and stayed home until tests turned negative after 11 days. In November, our grandson contracted the covid from the kindergarten with mild symptoms, and transmitted it to his parents. We helped with the care of our grandson, lived under the same roof with three covid-positive persons for a week, and remained negative. It seems that our bodies have developed immunity after getting covid once.</p> <p class="ql-block">Time flies, and the new year gives us a chance to start again. So at the end of each year, we ask ourselves to love and cheerish each other more and to live a happy life in the coming year.</p>
