-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">四子王旗春秋戰國時期為匈奴地。清朝初期封給元太祖成吉思汗胞弟哈布圖哈薩爾后裔，稱四子部落旗。哈布圖哈薩爾第十五代孫腦音泰生有四子：長子僧格、尊號莫爾根忽少奇；次子索納木、尊號達爾汗臺吉；三子鄂木布、尊號布庫臺吉；四子伊爾扎木、尊號莫爾根臺吉，游牧于呼倫貝爾。17世紀30年代初歸附后金，后因戰事逐漸西遷于此。崇德元年（1636年），清朝皇帝賜鄂木布為達爾汗卓哩克圖，授札薩克，統領四子部落。順治六年（1649年），晉封為多羅郡王，世襲罔替。</h3><p style="font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">希拉木倫廟位于紅格爾蘇木駐地，始建于清乾隆二十三年(公元1758年)，在內蒙古、青海、西藏、外蒙古等地有較大影響。希拉木倫廟是本旗貴族出身的丹巴拉布吉修建的。整座召廟占地約1平方公里，全廟共建有五座獨貢(-頌經處)、四大拉布仁(-寢宮)和四個廟倉(存放和掌管財物之處)以及360余處住宅。興盛時期喇嘛曾達1500名左右。解放前，美、日、外蒙古等國宗教界人士也多次在此進行佛事活動，是一座享譽中外的草原名剎。登臨北山，可見抗日戰爭時遺留下的戰場、碉堡、彈痕，再向西北行4公里可一覽金長城風采。向西南行1公里，錫拉木倫河西側的半坡上有金元時期興盛的“砂井總管府”遺址。向南行約5公里處可領略敖特奇溝獨特的自然風光。</h3><p style="font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">四子王旗現轄地域，歷史久遠，史實紛繁。旗境內紅格爾蘇木發現的舊石器，屬于中石器或新石器早期的文化遺存。蒙古四子部落的歷史，可上溯至成吉思汗的二弟哈布圖哈撒兒，孛兒只斤氏黃金家族的嫡系。他的子孫中載于史冊者就不下數百人。哈撒兒家族傳至七世阿克薩噶勒代，其長子阿魯克特穆爾，于公元1425年登上蒙古大汗之位，即阿岱汗。他將哈撒兒家族的勢力擴展到興安嶺以南的兀良哈三衛之地。此八部為：科爾沁、杜爾伯特、郭爾羅斯、扎賚特、阿魯科爾沁、四子部落、茂明安、烏拉特。</h3><p style="font-family: -webkit-standard; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">格根塔拉是蒙古語，意為“遼闊明亮的草原”。位于廣袤浩瀚的杜爾伯特（蒙語意為四子王）大草原。“格根查干敖包”，原本屬于本土牧民祭祀的古老部落扎薩克敖包，曾經由博教(薩滿教)大師開光，后來的佛教高僧對這座敖包又融入了符咒，實屬擁有“靈性”的正宗敖包。祭祀儀式結束時，所有民眾舉著招福桶，高聲呼喊“呼咧呼咧”，按順時針方向繞敖包轉三圈，感恩敖包神靈使他們與天地取得了心靈上的溝通，再次親近了大自然。“天賜吉祥福祿惠顧于你我他和天下萬物生靈”。</h3><p style="font-family: -webkit-standard;
