font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    還記得在隴東中學靛藍色的大操場上（之所以有這個靛藍色記憶理智點推斷應該是大操場的夜空），我們畫完畫的一幫人圍圈而坐就像圍著篝火，貓大師兄等人站在我們圍的圈圈中間侃侃而談。涼風習習，墻外汩汩流淌的著馬蓮河支流的河水，墻內是一個對美和自由追索的無邊界“文藝沙龍”，這群篝火一樣的人里面還有韓超、老漢、重臣、寶銀、建昕和凱鑫。我還記得大師兄清瘦的面龐上雙目閃爍如星子，他用溫和而平靜的語調給我們講崔健的歌與精神……他平靜地說著，我們個個聽得血脈僨張摩拳擦掌。那年的夏天，還記得他單薄的身體行走在慶陽城的溝溝坎坎上，每起步前總是一個大搖擺然后開步走，后面魚貫而跟的就是我們這群小嘍啰。</h3><p style="text-align: left; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    “土”不言而喻，陳東茂生于斯而長于斯，他畫的大都是隴東的鄉土題材，他的關注點永遠是當下。我曾經和大師兄討論一幅果樹的油畫作品，果實累累畫的很老實，讓人莫名感動，我說這樹就像一輩子長在隴東溝溝壑壑里的那些人，扎根泥土直到老死。</h3><p style="text-align: left; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    我一直奇怪自己看過陳東茂的畫為什么有這類感覺？從他早期的畫到新近獲大獎的《畫家您好》多少都有這個感覺。我還特意百度了一下，查到“撐”這個字不僅僅是隴東方言里吃太飽的意思，也不全是形體上“撐”開的意思，還大致有以下好幾種解釋：抵住；用篙抵住河底使船行進；支持；張開；充滿到容不下的程度。</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    撐怎么理解呢？風太大了，把風箏撐的很開？風箏嘩啦啦就順著風放到高處去。我看了又看，發現這首先取決于作品的構圖符號，那種開門見山的真誠。我把他的構圖符號理解成大寫的“X”或“Z”，或者說作品的骨架就是這兩個符號。想象一下，一個熱情的人，張開四肢擁抱你；一條奔突的河，以“Z”形涌向你，帶著撲面而來的泥土氣，你會是什么感覺？</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    即使構圖上沒把你“撐”著，他也會用色彩、用道具、用作品中的眼神來撐你。譬如《街角》的喇嘛紅，《隴原人家》焦黑的崖背，《回娘家》中的大紅和桃紅、《叉麥剁》中女娃手里的木叉、《面孔》系列中的眼神……</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    當然我還有對“撐”的第二種理解。陳東茂的作品里有它物和它人，唯獨看不到畫家自己，但他卻調動了你的視線“撐”住了畫面。怎么說呢？他把主觀的思想和情緒都收斂了起來，但是這些東西又經由筆觸、色彩、構圖等一點一點分解到畫面里，此消彼長。就像是把一滴鮮紅的血，滴在了一缸透明的水里，那紅色立馬泅洇了開來，讓肉眼能看到水流動的方向和肌理，如此成就了作品的鮮活。我估計這一點他自己也不知道，這個“撐”應該是非主觀行為，而是思想上由內而外溢出來的。</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    在《畫家您好》這幅作品里，或許可以說明這個方面，那迎面而來的鄉土氣里摻雜著明快積極的時代氣息：黃土地、鄉親、孩子、關照、大地、汽車、標語、某種穩妥、歡樂和諧的氛圍……畫面中，我們還看到無論畫家還是群眾，每個人的雙腳都踏踏實實踩在土地上，周圍是再普通不過的西北鄉土環境?？雌饋砗芷胀ㄉ踔粱臎鲐毞?，黃泥的老屋、群眾的服飾和膚色都是質樸的存在，和但藝術從不是藝術的地方開始了：畫家頭部的紅車和老屋上的紅字為作品賦予了時代感和當下氣息……畫家把藝術的美好帶到民間，群眾從畫家的藝術創作里重新審視這片土地，這種雙向的思考都是一種對土地的反哺和敬愛。這時候畫家的身份在轉化，他不僅是藝術審美之布道者，又是樸素之美的受洗者；反之，群眾的身份也在轉換，從美育接受者到美育啟發者。蔡元培說：“以美育代替宗教”。這雙向的啟發無疑是時代賦予藝術家對于社會發展的思考。</h3><p style="text-align: left; font-family: -webkit-standard; white-space: normal; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(26, 26, 26, 0.301961); -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;">    他或許感到，在綿延千里的黃土高原上，深藏著我們隴原幾千年積淀沉存下來的生命真氣，那是一種通天通地的大氣。而大師兄陳東茂，告訴我他剛從山西搬回來一座戲臺子，正在他的大夫第大院里筑就他的大戲臺。這戲臺就像他的畫筆，即將矗立在這座黃土高原上書寫他的鄉土人生，它們和周圍地貌渾然一體，像黃河水滲進黃土，萬物生長，作品讓大地成為大地。</h3><p style="text-align: left;
